Stay involved in the decisions without becoming the project manager for all of it.
I started Vibewell because I kept seeing the same problem: people were becoming project managers for something they were supposed to be excited about. Planning a wedding or a big trip comes with a lot more moving pieces than anyone tells you about, and the person handling one piece of it is rarely looking at the whole picture.
I planned my own destination wedding before I ever planned one for someone else, so I know this process from both sides. I know where couples tend to get overwhelmed, which decisions have the biggest impact, and how much easier the experience is when someone is paying attention to the details before they become problems.
Since then, I've built my work around both weddings and travel, and the combination is the point. A resort coordinator looks after the resort. A venue coordinator looks after the venue. I look at how the wedding, the travel, your guests, and the logistics fit together. I've also spent years traveling, training, and building relationships throughout the Caribbean, Mexico, and beyond, so when I recommend a destination, resort, or experience, there is real knowledge behind it.
You should be part of the decisions you care about. You should not be the one chasing wedding professionals, tracking deadlines, and answering the same question from every guest.
I also care about how your wedding or trip feels for the people living it, not only how it photographs. How guests arrive, where they stay, how easily they follow what is happening, what they can do while they are there, and how the events connect all shape the experience. Thoughtful does not mean overscheduled.
